Louth Badminton Open

There’s just one day left to enter this year’s Louth Badminton Open.

The tournament will take place on the Dundalk badminton courts from Monday, November 3rd to Sunday, November 9th, 2025. Entries can be submitted via the form attached to this mailing.

Closing date for entries: Friday, October 31st at 9pm
All Finals: Sunday, November 9th

Badminton Irish Open

Spectator tickets are now available for the Badminton Irish Open, taking place from November 12th–15th at the National Indoor Arena — a fantastic opportunity to see world-class badminton in action.

Tickets for Qualification to Quarter Final matches are free, while Semi-Finals & Finals tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Badminton Ireland Affiliations

The 2025 Badminton Ireland membership season is now open for both new registrations and renewals.

Any member who registers or renews from today will have their membership valid until November 30th, 2026.

Please note: Badminton members should now pay their affiliations directly to Badminton Ireland. The Club no longer manages these payments.
If you encounter any issues, contact the office — we’ll do our best to assist.

Badminton Ireland Awards

The annual Badminton Ireland Awards will take place on November 15th, before and immediately after the televised matches at the AIG Victor Irish Open.

Awards relate to the 2024/2025 season, and the deadline for submissions is Monday, November 3rd at 5pm.

There are 10 award categories, plus 2 honorary categories:

1. Volunteer of the Year
2. Young Player of the Year
3. International Player of the Year
4. Club Player of the Year
5. Club of the Year
6. Coach of the Year
7. Masters Player of the Year
8. Club Initiative of the Year
9. Women in Sport – Young Woman of the Year
10. Women in Sport – Woman of the Year
