Lost & Found – Final reminder!
The club’s lost & found box has filled to overflowing in recent months. We would ask anyone who may have lost something to check through the box. Items should be reclaimed by September 1st. Any unclaimed goods at that point will be sorted through and, where appropriate, will be donated.
Badminton Ireland Affiliations
As the badminton members start returning and training for competition it is an important reminder that from this season badminton members should pay their affiliations to Badminton Ireland directly. If there are any issues please contact the office and we will do all we can to help.
Orange Return Bins reaping rewards
Some good news – as the orange bins have been filling up we have now started receiving the Return refunds and putting it towards the Club finances.
While the volunteers involved in organising this are very grateful for all the Return bottles and cans donated – they have asked that there be no food thrown into the bins.
Reminder re clay court care
One of our members has asked us to remind people that they should sweep down the clay courts after play in preparation for the next members going on courts. We know that the majority of times the court is swept afterwards and this is probably a rare occurrence but teamwork makes the dream work and your help in this is very much appreciated.
